Bodies Revealed
2009-09-11 14:00:00
During this extraordinary exhibition, held in Olympia Exhibition Centre in Brno, the visitors have a unique opportunity to see the complexity of a human body with all its organs, muscles and bones.
"The educational impact of this exhibition is immense," says Dr. Roy Glover, professor emeritus of anatomy and cell biology, University of Michigan professor and director of the exhibiton.
The exhibition allows the visitors to see in detail the human skeleton, muscular, reproductive, respiratory systems and other organs. Many of the exhibits are stuffed bodies in athletic positions, so that viewer can see how bodies function in normal everyday life. Moreover illustrates human organ damaged by overeating and lack of exercise. Healthy lungs are located next to the blackened smoker's lung, a comparison which surpasses all similar illustrations in books.
